“My husband and I have been trying for a baby for a very long time now. We’ve been through IVF treatments and everything, and obviously, we seem to struggle with it… We both love children – he’s a psychiatric nurse for teenagers and I’ve been a youth worker over 21 years now. If I don’t get pregnant soon we’ll be looking into fostering and adopting. You know, there’s people in and out of our house all the time and people staying with us which they love, so I know we’ll be fantastic foster parents. I often wonder, maybe that’s our mission in life…”
“My husband has a completely different style to me, he’s very sporty, and he used to work in animation. He drew the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show back in the 90s, and when they stopped it his friends moved to America to continue doing art. He stayed and went to Trinity college to become a psychiatric nurse, because there was no work in animation back then. He’s an amazing artist, I can show you some of his drawings!”
