“I still remember the first time I saw a billiard table as a kid. All those coloured balls on that big table… It was just so new to me, and somehow I felt happiness and a sort of excitement seeing it. That was probably the last time, as I remember, I looked at something the way it is; I was fully present in life. That was the last time I saw something without judgement, or without commenting on it in my mind. Throughout education and as I got older, I left the “now” and got preoccupied with the past and worried about the future.”
