“I’m from the States originally. I wanted to see my grandchildren more often and I got bored of waiting for visits, so I decided to move here. I play music, but it’s not the only thing I do. I build giant kaleidoscopes. I built my first one 16 years ago back in America for two reasons. One, I wanted to build a new kind of amusement ride, never before seen, to be placed next to roller-coasters and merry-go-rounds! Two, I built them as love poems to the woman who saw me through a traumatic head injury and mental illness. There aren’t many people who build them, especially ones that are meant to be moved, but since I build mine with wheels I hope to explore the world as much as possible. Wherever people feel a need to experience beauty, I’d like to go there and provide that for them.”
