“I came here last November to study English, but the school is very expensive. I wanted to learn but not in a classroom environment: I wanted to discover and travel at the same time! I love to go to pubs alone in Ireland, and I usually end up with three new friends from four different countries – but they always have better English than I do. I can talk to people and I can read okay, but I still need help.
This is my first English book – I just bought it yesterday. I don’t really have any plans for this year; just improve my English. After I finish my book I think I will go down to the country and work on a farm for a while, make new friends and talk a lot! I guess life can be as good a teacher as any school!”
