“I got pregnant in the first year when I arrived to Dublin so I didn’t have much time to pick up the language, but I was talking to my son both Polish and English as much as I could. He is 5 years old now and English is becoming his preferred language and it got to a level where I just can’t keep up with him anymore. It’s funny and weird at the same time when he gets angry because I keep asking him to repeat what he said. I had to start an English language course just to keep up with him.”
