
“I come here whenever I can, just to sit for a while and to listen to music. This was my mother’s favourite place; we used to cycle and walk a lot around the Clontarf coast. Before she died, she asked that I scatter her ashes here. She got cancer when I was 17 and died when I was 21. That whole time feels like a blur; it still doesn’t feel real. It was a tough time – I used to get panic attacks and all… it was way too soon losing her, but exercising and work helped a lot to clear my head and get back to living my life.”
