“I’m from Enniscrone, County Sligo, where there’s a really nice 5-mile long beach. I go there whenever I can, like after school, to practice. It wasn’t easy to fall in love with surfing; I only started because my father has a surfing and sailing business and he pushed me. I probably only became good at it because I was so afraid of the fish underneath me, so failing for me was not an option! Now I do race surfing and I also do distance racing as well!”
