I’m planning to go the Philippines to work with children of the Badjao Tribe

“It doesn’t feel too bad in the water. It’s more like a burning feeling. It gets much worse when you come out; then you feel really cold! I swam today because me and my dad set up a charity page to raise funds for my upcoming ‘EveryDayHero’ trip during the summer. It’s with a volunteer organisation called Serve, and they go to different countries like India, Philippines, Thailand or Mozambique, and they bring a group of volunteers to teach and help out in some of the most oppressed communities. I’m planning to go the Philippines to work with children of the Badjao Tribe. We’re going to give them the education and skills they need to be able to move into general society and survive in the modern world without losing their own culture. It’ll be a great adventure for sure!”
