
“We study occupational therapy, and today we’re trying to understand the perspective of a blind person. It’s scary at first because you really have to put all your trust in your guide. And even though she’s my friend, and I trust her, hearing all these sounds and knowing there might be a step or something makes me feel very vulnerable. But I think everyone should try it. You get to rediscover your senses. And it really teaches you a lot. If you put such a huge amount of trust in someone, it creates a bond that’s on another level.”
