When I was examined by the pound vet, they realized I was heavily pregnant

“I’m a very lucky girl because I have been adopted! My mama works in the animal shelter and brings me to work with her every day. I was wandering the streets of Dublin, hungry and alone. My coat was matted and filthy and I was so terrified. I was picked up by the local dog warden and taken to the pound. It was such a scary place! When I was examined by the pound vet, they realized I was heavily pregnant. I was very relieved when they brought me to the DSPCA animal shelter so I could safely give birth, and so my babies and I could find loving new homes. Within a few hours of being there, I went into labour and I had seven adorable puppies. I was a great mum and raised fat, healthy and happy pups. They all found amazing homes and are really happy! My hobbies include sleeping, eating, going on off-leash walks and learning tricks. My mama named me Bo after David Bowie because of my different coloured eyes. Aren’t they cool?” (Bo)
