I never thought that one day I would get married to someone from the other side of the world

“I buy her flowers every week! We only got married two months ago, and we saw each other for the first time about six months ago when she moved here from the US. I got to know her on the internet and we were writing to each other for about a year before the first Skype call. It’s interesting where technology is heading, I never thought that one day I would get married to someone from the other side of the world. In my time we went to a dance and met girls from the neighbouring village or, if you were lucky, from the next city.“
