Humans of Dublin – The man behind the lens

A project of portraits and personal stories is now being exhibited at DLR Lexicon in Dun Laoghaire.

Humans of Dublin is a popular Facebook page founded by Hungarian photographer Peter Varga.

The project features people sharing personal stories on camera. Over the past three years, Peter has asked thousands of people to contribute to the project.

Mr Varga says the beauty of his project is that “you can have a conversation about anything. Sometimes they are funny. Sometimes they are inspiring. Sometimes they are sad but they are always honest and about people”.

The exhibition features 60 subjects who each share their personal stories and runs until the end of March.
