“I think one of the best things about being in a wheelchair is experiencing people’s kindness on a different level. When you have a disability you get to see the enthusiasm in people and the willingness to help every day. And because you receive so much kindness you automatically try to give back and by giving back, people around you become happier and so they make you feel motivated every day. Motivation is the key to keep me going. I was born three months premature and because of the lack of oxygen I can’t walk and have difficulties speaking, but it has never stopped me! I’m doing my degree in one of the best universities in Dublin. I feed from knowledge and kindness. I have a beautiful family and many friends, so even though I’m in a wheelchair, I’m as happy as I can be!”
