“I’m originally from Spain and last year, me and my family went on our Christmas holidays to Poland. We were there for over a week and on the second day, I met this girl… We were both looking at each other from a distance… She was so beautiful, I felt love for her instantly! Then, she came to me and tried to talk to me in English but I barely understood what she was trying to say… I was so embarrassed. She told me that I should learn English and come back to Poland one day… I know I’ll never see her again but there and then I decided to learn English. My dream is to travel the world so that’s my number one priority. This is my third day in Ireland and the first time I’ve travelled alone, my class is until the end of the summer. I live in a house with 13 other people, I’m studying very hard and I am already much more confident talking to people. It’s not easy but just thinking that I will never have to feel embarrassed like that again makes it worth it.”
