“I’m a priest since 1971, that’s over 46 years now. I have to admit, we’ve had better years… Being a priest was wonderfully fulfilling in my ministry up until recent years. I find it very challenging to keep the peace and serenity when there is so much negative criticism around. Which is often unfair because it only concerns some priests, but atheists and the media portray every one of us in the same light. The gospel says don’t retaliate, if you are slapped on one cheek, you turn the other cheek too, so we try to put the gospel messages into practice in these difficult times and hope for better days…”
