Peter Varga was born in Budapest and moved to Dublin at the age of 19. He is an author, photographer and creator of the social media phenomenon, Humans of Dublin.
In the past five years besides approaching thousands of people on the streets of Dublin and beyond he posted over 2,000 stories to his page. In 2016 he published a bestselling book with the same name and created multiple exhibitions.
Peter, collaborated with some of the biggest brands in Ireland. These collaborations made his page famous for raising awareness to same of the most pressing issues Ireland faces today. He raised thousands of euros for charities like Pieta House, Focus Ireland, Childhood Cancer Foundation, Simon Community, Movember, Concern and more. He also helped to change legislation over supervised injection facilities in Ireland and found new homes for over 60 dogs and 30 cats by working on a series with DSPCA.
He photographed some of Ireland biggest festivals, events, and conferences.
